The Science Behind the
Food
Food for a Better Tomorrow
Welcome to the science behind Fit Fuel Foods. Folks, we have been given bad information for years about how we are supposed to consume our nutrition. Even worse, when people actually tried following the bad information and it didn’t work for them in managing their weight and health, those individuals were to blame. What? If one is following the most accurate information believed to be available, why wasn’t it working for them? They must be gluttonous and lazy and have no control over themselves. WRONG!!! It is not your fault that past dietary guidelines were influenced by poor science, conflict of interest, and big food industry bias. We are beings of cells and hormones which are programmed and influenced by the foods we eat. It is important to be an informed consumer as it can be a matter of life and vitality or disease and eventual death.
I encourage you to click on the videos and links. I hope you develop an understanding as to why Fit Fuel Foods meals are a bit higher in calories (due to healthy fats), low in carbs and no added sugars, and moderate in protein (keeps you full, increases thermogenesis, and builds/maintains muscle mass). The videos and links are a collection of nutrition science heroes who are working to make a difference for you and me. I even jumped in and made a few videos that I hope you find informative and helpful in your wellness journey.
